Rolls Royce Phantom

Commanding a royal presence on the road, the Rolls Royce Phantom has come to be embraced by both the wealthy and adoring onlookers alike.

With its trademark chrome grille leading up to the “Lady of Ecstasy”, the Phantom’s single circular headlamps help cut out a clean yet sophisticated fascia. The length of the body which has a neat crease that flows from above the bulging wheelarches to the end of the slightly lowered rear, is traditional Rolls Royce through and through. A key feature to the Phantom is its ‘coach doors’ or more casually referred to as suicide doors which opens outwards since the rear-doors are rear hinged.

Built on an aluminum space frame, the dashboard is in similar design to the company’s previous cars. Gauges are luxuriously surrounded by veneered teak wood and upholstery has been taken care of by generous pieces of top-grade leather hides that are easily customizable for the customer. Other features are in the form of a rear-seat DVD system, 26-speaker premium sound system, 16-way power rear seats, power closing doors and power open/close trunk lid buttons.

Powering this 2485 kg mammoth is a BMW-assembled, 6.75-Litre V12 engine that produces 453 bhp and effortlessly moves the Phantom to a comfortable 100km/h in 5.7 seconds and as easily, brings it to a halt.
