Rolls Royce Phantom Drop Head

Coming off the back of the Coupe, the Phantom Drophead Coupe gives customers a more flexible option in the way they spend their time in the luxury of Rolls Royce’s latest 2-door range.

Exactly like the Coupe, the Drophead Coupe shares no body panels with its larger sibling. Even the head, signal and driving lamps together with the front grille, has been modified to fit its sportier nature. Unique on the Drophead is it’s five-layer-thick cloth convertible top that folds away completely behind the rear seats in a few seconds under a panel that can be painted in body colour, contrasting colour or even covered in optional handcrafted teak strips.

The V12 unit used throughout the range has 75 percent of its power available just above 1000 rpm so you do not have to depress the pedal too much to get the car’s mass in motion. Suspension and shock absorbers have been stiffened to match the Drophead’s sporty nature and the brakes have been made to bite harder than the Phantom limousine when depressed.
